There are 3 additional weeks of teacher's cancellations that will also be used during the school year in the case of the teacher's illness or emergencies. The last day of lessons will be adjusted for any unused teacher's cancellations. Additional events from local music teachers' groups will be added as information becomes available.
August 26, 2024 First day of lessons for 2024-25 school year.
September 2, 2024 Labor Day, Studio closed.
October 8-9 2024 Tuesday-Wednesday Studio closed.
October 13, 2024 Sunday, 2:30 p. m. Halloween Community Concert at Village Crest, 19 Poplar St., New Milford, CT. Please come in costume. Please limit audience to one parent and the students performing.
October 14, 17-18, 2024 Monday, Thursday and Friday Studio closed.
November 17, 2024 2:30 p. m. 14th Annual Benefit Concert for the New Milford Food Bank, Valley Presbyterian Church, 21 W. Whisconier Rd., Brookfield, CT. Audience members must be at least 5 years old. Please bring a non-perishable food donation for the New Milford food bank.
November 20, 2024 Wednesday, Studio closed. Teacher's Cancellation #1 for Wednesday students.
November 26-November 29, 2024 Tuesday– Friday, Thanksgiving Recess.
December 23, 2024 - Jan. 3, 2025, Monday-Friday, Holiday Break.
Jan. 20-24, 2025 Studio closed.
February 23, 2025 2:30 p. m. Community Service Concert, 2:30 p. m., 4th floor of Village Crest, 19 Poplar St. New Milford, CT. (Next to New Milford Hospital.)
March 1,2 2025 Young Musicians' Festival, sponsored by the Schubert Club. Location: Saxe Middle School, 468 South Ave New Canaan, CT
March 2025, Date and Location TBD. Young Composers' Day, sponsored by the Hartford Chapter of the CT State Music Teachers' Association
March 17 -21, 2025 Studio closed. Spring break.
April 30, 2025 Registration opens for Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 lessons.
May 18, 2025 Sunday, 2:30 p. m., Spring Piano Extravaganza and Awards Ceremony, Audience members must be at least 5 years old. Valley Presbyterian Church, 21 West Whisconier Rd., Brookfield, CT.
May 19-23, 2025, Monday-Friday, (to be confirmed) Studio closed.
May 2025 Royal Conservatory Piano and Theory Assessments – Dates TBD, Various locations.
May 30, 2025 Registration deadline for 2025-26 school year
June 20, 2025 Friday Last day of lessons for the 2024-25 school year. Date will be adjusted if there are unused teacher’s cancellations.
June 25, 2025-July 31, 2025 Summer Session.
