Studio Calendar

There are 3 additional weeks of teacher's cancellations that will  also be used during the school year in the case of the teacher's illness  or emergencies.  The last day of lessons will be adjusted for any  unused teacher's cancellations.  Additional events from local music  teachers' groups will be added as information becomes available.

August 24, 2026 First day of lessons for the 2026-27 school year.

September 21, 2026 Monday Yom Kippur Studio closed.

September 24, 2026  Thursday Studio closed. 

October 18, 2026 2:30 p. m. Community Service Concert, Village Crest, 19 Poplar St., New Milford, CT.  In addition to the performers,  one parent or guardian  may attend the concert. 

October 19-21  2026  Monday-Wednesday Studio closed Revised 9/14/26 Change 10/12-10/14 to 10/19-10/21 due to community service concert. 

October 27-31, 2026 Halloween Week. Wear a costume to your lesson and get a Halloween treat!

November 22, 2026, 2:30 p. m.  16th Annual Benefit Concert for the New Milford food bank. Valley Presbyterian Church, 21 W. Whisconier Rd., Brookfield, CT. Please bring non-perishable items to donate to the food bank.  Audience members must be 5 years old to attend.

November 24-November 27, 2026   Tuesday– Friday, Thanksgiving Recess.

December 21, 2026 - Jan. 21, 2027  Monday-Friday,  Holiday Break.

Jan. 18, 2027  Monday  Studio closed. Martin Luther King Day

March 7, 2027 2:30 p. m. (To be confirmed) Community Service Concert, Village Crest, 19 Poplar St., New Milford, CT. In addition to the performers, one parent or guardian may attend the concert.  

March 2027 Young Composers' Day, Date TBD sponsored by the Hartford chapter of the CT State Music Teachers' Association

March 15-19, 2027   Studio closed. Spring break.

April 24-25 2027   Young Pianists' Festival, Westport, CT

April 30, 2027 Registration for current students opens for summer 2027 and 2027-28 school year.

May  2027  Royal Conservatory  Piano and Theory Assessments, New Haven, CT

May 23, 2027 2:30 p. m. Spring Concert and Awards Ceremony, Valley Presbyterian Church, 21 W. Whisconier Rd., Brookfield, CT. Audience members must be 5 years old to attend. 

May 24-28 2027, Monday-Friday,  Studio closed. 

May  31, 2027 Registration deadline for current students for the 2027-28  school year and summer lessons. Register by this date to reserve a spot  in my teaching schedule for summer or the school year. 

June 18, 2027   Last day of lessons, The date will be adjusted if there are unused Teacher's Cancellations.
